French toast is a classic breakfast that is deliciously rich and super easy to make. This sweet breakfast has 3 main ingredients milk, bread and egg to make it delish. So very basic ingredients and quick to make breakfast which will be perfect when served with maple syrup, cream or with some berries/ sliced banana. For this french toast you can use brown bread also but white bread tastes excellent. So if you are bored with regular bread omelet try this quick recipe at home and relish it. Ingredients
  1. 1. Bread slices – 2
  2. 2. Egg – 1
  3. 3. Milk – 2 tbsp
  4. 4. Cinnamon powder+ Nutmeg powder – 1/8 tsp
  5. 5. Vanilla syrup- ¼ tsp
  6. 6. Butter – 2 tsp
  7. 7. Sugar – 2 tsp
  8. 8. Powdered sugar- 1 tsp (for dusting, optional)
  9. 9. Banana- 1 (sides, optional)
Instructions
  1. In a bowl break an egg, add milk, cinnamon, nutmeg powder, vanilla syrup and sugar. Whisk it well until combined.
  2. Now slice a white bread diagonally to get 2 triangles. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture.
  3. Heat butter in a pan. When the pan is hot enough add the bread slices dipped in egg mixture. When one side looks toasted flip it gently. When both sides are evenly toasted transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process until all the slices are done. Garnish the bread slices with powdered sugar and serve the bread hot with slices of banana and maple syrup.
