I have been trying for years to get this eggless lava cake right with few basic ingredients and no special techniques and now with confidence I can say I perfected it and super happy to share with you guys. This is a recipe of a simple chocolate lava cake with gooey center, if you want it to he more gooey add few chocolate chips in the center of the batter just before baking. - Grease 4 ramekins with unsalted butter. Keep it aside. Preheat oven at 400 F. In a bowl add unsalted butter and choco chips. Microwave it for 30 seconds. When melted ix it well until combined.
- Now the chocolate mixture add all purpose flour/ maida, powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Now add milk gradually to form a cake batter.
- Now pour the choco lava cake batter in the greased ramekins and place it in preheated oven at 400F and bake for 8 minutes. My lava cake took only 8 minutes to get perfect gooey center and cake. If it is not done in the prescribed time keep it for some more time. Every oven is different so timing might vary. When lava cake is done remove it from the oven and serve it immediately.
