ABC JUICE a super popular, healthy and delicious detox or immunity booster drink prepared easily with apples, beetroot and carrots (abc). This drink has surely gained its popularity during this pandemic which should have been consumed/ gained popularity even before it due to it’s the immense health benefits it causes to our body.
Yes, this drink when consumed on an empty stomach is just right way to start your day as it helps to flush all the toxins in the body. Not just that it helps protect eyes, makes your skin glow, has anti aging properties, contains anti oxidants and much more health benefits.
So now for the recipe the amount of apples should be more than carrots (apples and carrot scan be equal too) or beets and most important do not add more beets than mentioned as it will be hard to drink it for its taste. I haven’t added any sweetener to the drink as the sweetness from the apples and carrot will be more than enough also for digestion and flavor I have added ginger(a tiny chunk). If you wish to make the drink sweet you can try adding honey which I feel does justice to this healthy drink. You can also try adding few drops of lemon juice to balance the flavor. The below mentioned quantity/ balace of fruits and veggies suits my family best but you can alter the quantity as you like too. There is no harm in consuming fresh homemade juice prepared with fruits and veggies. Yes or No??

- 1. Apple – 1 (large sized)
- 2. Carrot – 1 ( medium sized)
- 3. Beetroot – ¼ cup
- 4. Ginger – a tiny chunk
- 5. Water – 2 cups
- 6. Ice cubes – few (optional)
- * 1 cup = 235 ml
- Peel apple, beetroot, ginger and carrot. Chop them roughly. Add it in a blender/ juicer. Add 2 cups water. Blend it well until combined.
- Pour the juice through a strainer to a juice jar/ bowl. Serve it with or without adding honey and ice cubes. Consume the juice immediately as it tastes better that way.
