Chicken karahi/ Karahi chicken is a one such spicy gravy hailing from Pakistan and North India where chicken is cooked in tomato based gravy which goes well with naan, roti and jeera rice. We are so much addicted to this chicken karahi available in Pakwan restaurant, that whenever we order naan without any doubt this gravy is to be ordered and since it is lockdown now, I tried to make it at home and it was super yum, also tried to present it the same way just like the restaurant to surprise my family.
The recipe is quite different from the the regular gravies that we prepare at home and surely is the taste too. This recipe does not work well with boneless chicken, so try to use chicken with bones for best results and taste. Also this recipe uses little extra oil than other gravies which makes helps to cook the chicken better so please don’t hesitate. So let’s get to the making!
