Fish tikka masala is a rich and creamy curry prepared by adding chunks of marinated and roasted fish and veggies into tomato based curry sauce and cooked to perfection with spices. This fish tikka masala tastes just like restaurant ones and can be easily made at home without using skewers/ oven and using the user friendly tawa! Sounds interesting right? It saves time too but still tastes awesome when served with soft roti’s or jeera rice or simple pulao. This same recipe can be made with chicken and for veg option with paneer and mushroom.
For this recipe using hung curd/ thick curd works better, but if you don’t have it you can use regular one as well. Also I used tilapia fillets but you can try using salmon as well. In this recipe I have not used any artificial color/ food color as it is not healthy, instead used good variety of kashmiri chili powder and used ripe red tomatoes for restaurant color curry. So let’s get to the making!
