Ingredients
- 1. Quinoa – 1 cup (Cooked)
- 2. Onion – 1 (small)
- 3. Cabbage – ½ cup (shredded)
- 4. Carrot – 2 tbsp (juliene)
- 5. Beans – 2 tbsp (chopped)
- 6. Green Capsicum – ¼ cup (thin slices)
- 7. Spring onion- 2 tbsp (chopped)
- 8. Salt – to taste
- 9. Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- 10. Oil – 2 tbsp
Note
- * 1 cup = 235 ml
Instructions
- Slice capsicum into julienne, shred cabbage, chop beans, carrot and spring onion. Keep the cooked quinoa ready. Make sure the quinoa has to look into individual grains.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add chopped beans, carrot, cabbage, green pepper/ capsicum, spring onion saute well. This should take about just few minutes. Do not overcook it as we want the veggies to be crispy.
- Now add pepper powder and salt to the sauteed veggies. Mix well. Now add cooked quinoa and toss well. Serve it hot with ketchup.

How to make Quinoa fried rice with step by step images

- Slice capsicum into julienne, chop beans, shred cabbage thin, carrot and spring onion. Keep the cooked quinoa ready.(wash and soak quinoa in water for 10 minutes. In a pan add 1 1/2 cups of water, when water is boiling add soaked quinoa and cook till its done. Cooked quinoa will have tiny tail.) Make sure the quinoa has to look into individual grains.
