Pizza dosa recipe, How to make dosa pizza

Pizza dosa as the the name sounds is an interesting and yummy dish loaded with cheese and veggies. This simple and fancy dish can be served as breakfast/ snack if you get bored of regular dosa. This pizza dosa will be adored by both adults and kids. For this recipe I have used homemade idli/ dosa batter and used basic veggies like onion and 3 color bell pepper/ capsicum, but you can add any veggies of your choice along with olives. Make sure your batter is thick in consistency, if you have a runny batter making this pizza dosa base will be tough. Earlier I had posted a different version of the dosa pizza, do check it out. So let’s get to the making!

Ingredients
  1. 1. Homemade Idli/ dosa batter- 1 ½ cups/ 3 ladles
  2. 2. Onion – ¼ cup (cubed)
  3. 3. Capsicum – ½ cup (chopped)
  4. 4. Black olives – 2 tsp (chopped)
  5. 5. Tomato ketchup/ Pizza sauce- 3 tbsp
  6. 6. Shredded mozzarella cheese- ½ cup
  7. 7. Oil – 2 tsp
Note
  1. * 1 cup = 235 ml
Instructions
  1. Heat a dosa pan, spread a ladle of batter in round shape to make uthappam/ pancake shaped thick dosa.
  2. When the top layer of dosa looks cooked put the flame to low and spread some tomato ketchup/ pizza sauce over it add shredded mozzarella cheese, then top it with some chopped onion and chopped capsicum.
  3. Add little oil to the sides just like regular dosa and cover the dosa with a lid for the cheese to melt. This should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. When the cheese gas melted and when it looks cooked transfer it to a plate and slice. Serve it immediately!
