Sambar sadam/ Sambar rice is a wholesome and delicious one pot meal that is loaded with mixed vegetables. This rice is something easy to make and serves as excellent lunch box recipe. Simply served with papad, fryums or even potato chips goes excellent with this rice. If you are a working women or bachelor this recipe will be very handy and so for others too. I like to keep the lunchbox simple but healthy and wholesome too and I don’t make fancy meals which I have mentioned in other posts too. Hope you guys like this simple and easy lunch box idea! Notes:
- I chopped the veggies at night for the next day.
- In the morning I soaked rice and dal first, meanwhile sauteed the veggies then added the rice and dal too in the pressure cooker to the sauteed veggies. Pressure cooked for 4 whistles and voila yummy and flavorful sambar sadam ready! (These are just ideas and do not need to be followed)
