Spaghetti stir fry is a simple and quick to make recipe that can be prepared in jiffy by tossing cooked spaghetti in veggies. Spaghetti stir fry can be made with or without protein according to individual preference. The below recipe consists only basic veggies and sauce making it very easy to prepare. I have used only green color capsicum for the below recipe but you can use different colors of capsicum to make the dish colorful also you can add mushrooms too to make the dish more appetizing. This can be consumed for lunch or dinner and acts as great lunch box recipe. So lets get to the making!

Beginner tip:
Always remember to add oil, salt along with water as this step prevents in sticking of pasta. Also add the pasta only when the water is boiling as this helps in cooking pasta fast eliminating wait time and soggy pasta. The last important step is to run the cooked pasta in cold water/ regular water preventing stickiness.
- 1. Spaghetti – 150 grams
- 2. Onion – ¼ cup
- 3. Cabbage – ¼ cup
- 4. Green capsicum – ¼ cup
- 5. Carrot – ¼ cup
- 6. Spring onion – ¼ cup
- 7. Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- 8. Red chilli flakes – ¼ tsp
- 9. Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- 10. Salt – to taste
- 11. Oil – 1 tsp
- * 1 cup = 235 ml
- In a pot add water, oil and salt. Mix well and allow it to boil well. When the water is rolling boil add pasta and cook till done it took around 12 minutes for me to get it cooked. When it looks cooked drain the water and run the cooked pasta in regular water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and saute it for a minute. Now add chopped cabbage, carrot julienne, green capsicum and cabbage. Saute well. Make sure the veggies remain little crunchy. Now to the veggies mixture add the cooked spaghetti, soy sauce, chilli flakes, pepper, salt and spring onion. Toss it well in the mixture. Garnish it with some chopped green stalks from spring onion and put off the flame. Serve it hot and your family will love it for sure!
