- Bread – 4
- Potato (boiled) – 1
- Small onion – 1
- Green chilli – 2
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Channa dal – 1 tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Curry leaves – a spring
- Cilantro for garnish

How to make Aloo bread upma with step by step images
- Boil, peel and mash potatoes little and keep it aside. Do not mash it too much as we want it to be little chunky.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds after it splutters add urad dal and channa dal, when dal turns golden brown add chopped onion and green chilli. Saute well, add turmeric powder. Give it a quick stir and add mashed potato and mix well.
- Now add salt and chopped bread pieces. Mix well. When everything looks combined garnish it with chopped cilantro and serve it hot!
