Mint raita recipe, Curd blended in mint mixture, How to make pudina rita

Mint raita is a sure variation from the regular raita as its taste and flavors are distinct. Though the name sounds different it is very easy to make. It can be accompanied for lot of dishes like biryani, pulao, tandoori chicken and so on. I make this often at home as I have lush growth of mint in my garden so why not make use of it. So lets get started!

Ingredients

  • Mint – 1/2 cup
  • Cilantro – ¼ cup
  • Chopped Ginger – ¼ tsp
  • Chopped garlic – ¼ tsp
  • Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. In a blender add mint, cilantro, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds and salt then blend everything gets pulverized. Now add curd to it and blend it well till everything gets combined. Now transfer it to a bowl. Serve it with peas pulao or any other rice variety of your choice.
